The statement explained that the app is set to be unveiled during the upcoming National Women’s Impact Conference under the theme: “League of Extraordinary Women: Timeless Impact”
It also announced that Ode has served as Grand Patron of the Connect Her Network Initiative since inception, and notably attended the first edition of the conference in 2024, held at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja.
“From the earliest days of the mobile app’s conceptualisation, he has provided strategic counsel, moral support, and executive encouragement, becoming a reliable pillar for the project’s development,” the statement read.
Ode commended the Connect Network Foundation team for their dedication and excellence pledging to continue standing firmly behind this transformative work.
He also added that “Connect Her Network is a national legacy in the making. I am proud to be part of a movement that puts women at the center of innovation, connectivity, and global opportunity. This is more than technology, it is nation-building,” Ode said.
Also, Ogwuche said that the Connect Her Network Mobile App is a first-of-its-kind women-centered platform that provides digital access to verified opportunities, training, funding resources, mentorships, and local-to-global collaboration all in one secure, scalable space.
She also confirmed that the app will house a CSR Hub, allowing companies and institutions to upload, sponsor, and monitor impact-driven programs that serve women nationwide and globally.
She further expressed appreciation to the Deputy governor noting that his presence at both the inaugural 2024 event and this year’s app launch underscores his belief in sustainable platforms that move beyond rhetoric and deliver real, measurable empowerment for women.
