The General Overseer of Dominion City Worldwide, Dr. David Ogbueli, has declared that Nigeria urgently needs divine intervention to overcome its mounting social, economic, and security challenges.
Speaking with journalists on Friday in Abuja, Dr. Ogbueli, who was represented by Senior Pastor and Member of the Central Executive Council, Pastor Norbert Onaga, said the church’s forthcoming Night of Glory Crusade is dedicated to seeking divine intervention for Nigeria.
Pastor Onaga, noted that the annual crusade, which has been running for nearly 20 years, has brought healing and transformation not only to individuals but also to communities.
He explained that the Abuja edition of the crusade, scheduled for December 5 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, would serve as the climax of the global event, which has already held across five continents in 2025.
He added that the event would feature prayers, worship, and miracles.
He said, “So, we believe that our dear nation, Nigeria, needs the help of God, and that is one of the major purposes of the Night of Glory. We’re in the bliss of prayer, we’re all together, to bring up our nation before God for His intervention, because Nigeria is a great nation.
“Night of Glory is a unique program that has been running for the past, I believe, almost 20 years now, and it has been an outstanding program that has brought not only healing to individuals but has brought also healing to the land.
“This year alone, we’ve had it in almost the five continents of the world, and this one is the climax. And why this one is unique is because we’re coming to the end of the year. The Bible says in Psalms 66 that God will crown our year with His goodness,” he said.

Also speaking, Presiding Pastor of Dominion City Northern Nigeria, Pastor Ifedinma Nwankwo, urged Nigerians to attend the program with faith and expectation.
He noted that the church began interceding for the crusade months ago.
He said, “Just like Pastor Long has said just now, that 5th of December, 2025, we’re all going to host the Night of Glory. It’s a promising night for everybody. Whatever thing God is going to do that night will cut across all walks of life. We’re telling everybody in the city of Abuja and all the environs, come expectant, and God will not leave you unrewarded.”
On logistics, Senior Pastor of Dominion City Lagos, Pastor Shola Olapede, assured that adequate security and transportation arrangements had been made to ensure a hitch-free event.
“There will be free transportation from every part of Abuja — suburbs, satellite towns, adjoining towns all the way to Nasarawa, Suleja, and other surrounding cities. We are also not leaving out security arrangements. We are partnering with all the security agencies to ensure that there will be no danger of threats to lives and property that night,” he said.
According to him, “All arrangements are top-notch. The facility itself is a global standard facility, so the services that we are providing will also be to global standard. Don’t sit at home. Anticipate what God is going to do that night. It’s going to be a night of testimonies.”
The Night of Glory Crusade 2025 will be hosted by Dr. David Ogbueli alongside guest ministers Evangelist Andres Bissoni, Evangelist Daniel Scott, Dr. Charles Ndifon, and Apostle Ikechukwu Nnajiofor.
The worship session will feature renowned gospel ministers including Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Ebuka Songs, Kaestrings, Theophilus Sunday, Anthony Kani, Sunmisola Agbebi-Okeleye, and Minister GUC.
The event, themed Raising Leaders, Transforming Society, will begin at 7 p.m. and continue till dawn. It is expected to attract thousands onsite and millions of participants online worldwide.
